AbigailRyan is the Belfast based web design, styling & photography studio from husband and wife team, Abigail and Ryan Bell.
Trained at the prestigious Glasgow School of Art, and graduating with First Class Honours in 2005, Abigail spends much of her time styling things to make them beautiful, be it product or flowers (you can find more from her at PETAL studio). Capturing gorgeousness through the camera is one of her greatest pleasures, always chasing that perfect shot, a way to tell a story and communicate a brand message.
Ryan graduated with a First Class Honours Degree, from the University of Ulster, in Photography and Lens Based Media over ten years ago. While the Photography game has certainly changed since then, his desire to capture great moments and unnoticed corners has remained.
Together, they love working with small brands, designer makers, shop owners (florists, food retailers, gift shops, and anything in between) and interesting businesses to capture fantastic shots of what they make and do. Using their combined skills and decade of experience in Retail, Brand development and Styling, they want to add value and beauty to the face of your company.
A little bit of history...
Bursting on to the homeware scene in late 2009 with their homeware brand abigail*ryan, they quickly cemented themselves as one of Northern Ireland's most exciting design exports. In 2013, a paper from their debut Wallpaper collection was acquired by the Cooper-Hewitt Smithsonian Museum in New York. Their highly desirable products have sold through prestigious stores such as Liberty London and Fenwick's of Bond Street. Their story, and designs, have been featured and mentioned in Magazines such as Mollie Makes, Red, Elle Decoration and Homes & Garden. You can see their press back catalogue, here.
April 2013 saw the stunning collaboration abigail*ryan created with Jo Malone London and their Style Editor Charlotte Stockdale, the products they created retailed exclusively in Selfridges. In 2015, Abigail & Ryan were Painters in Residence for Annie Sloan, tasked with using her signature Chalk Paint in innovative and exciting projects.
