Screen printed by hand in the UK, each of our 100% pure unbleached cotton tea-towels is sure to bring a splash of colour and a dash of luxury to the most mundane of tasks.
More than suitable for everyday use, the water-based inks provide the softest of handles, whilst the cotton fabrication actually gets better and even more absorbent with every wash.
Each tea-towel is beautifully patterned with one of Abigail’s stunning botanical ink drawings, which she draws from life from leaves, seeds and flowers she has collected on her travels…from as far a field as France and California, or from as local as en route to the post office to make her daily jewellery deliveries.
Both botanical and geometric in inspiration, here the wonderfully evocatively named “Helicopter” print combines the subtlety and softness of nature, with the bold, rigid structure of traditional repeat patterns. This combination is, somehow, unflinchingly modern and quirkily retro.
Available in both a delicious, tomatoey, ketchup red as seen here, and also in a piquant, flavoursome, Dijon mustard yellow, to suit any mood or colour palette - both looking fantastic in the kitchen!
Our tea-towels measure approx 50 x 75 cm, slightly larger than the average tea-towel making them perfect for drying LOTS of dishes, but also, they make fantastic small table-cloths and cover-ups... even ideal for a kids indoor picnic!
